 The magic of ZavoodiCMS is that you create a "template" in the web design tool of your choice (or in ZavoodiCMS itself). Then, you create individual pages that are 'wrapped' in your template(s).
The image at right is an example of a template created in Photoshop and NetObjects Fusion. You are free to use any HTML tool, from notepad to Microsoft FrontPage to Macromedia Dreamweaver. Use the tools you're most comfortable with.
 Specify any area of your newly designed template to contain dynamically generated content, such as photo vignettes, text vignettes, or news headlines. Each of these dynamic content types have easy-to-use interfaces allowing you to upload photos, edit headlines and stories, etc.
The image to the right shows a dynamic module called a Photo Vignette, which contains a photograph and descriptive text. The template above was designed to place the dynamic content on top of the blue "swoop" on the left-most side of the screen.
 Next, create a new page and input the text and place photos using ZavoodiCMS's WYSIWYG editor, which runs in your Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer web browser (currently the only supported browser for editing, although the resulting output is compatible with all modern browsers).
The image to the right shows the editor, with a two-column table. The font and all font specifics such as color and size are defined in the template created above. This assures each user that their pages fit the overall site style, eliminating the dreaded "designed by committee" look common with other groupware web authoring tools.
 As soon as you click save, the new page that you created in ZavoodiCMS is wrapped in your template, and is published live to the Internet.
If you have created more than one site template, the user has the option of choosing which template to "wrap" his page in. Imagine being able to display the same content in different designs, in real time! Simply specifying a template number in the URL does the trick.

ZavoodiCMS allows you to abstract the site's content from the presentation and the logic. This means that content (the actual text and photos) is stored in a database, then "wrapped" in a design template that describes text sizes, colors, fonts, backgrounds, and other static parts. Unlike traditional methods, ZavoodiCMS users that wish to implement a site redesign need only to create a new HTML-based template. Presto, the content is wrapped in the new site design instantly, including font styles, colors, etc. Users of NetObjects Fusion, Microsoft FrontPage, Macromedia Dreamweaver, and ALL other web development packages can easily create new templates without any changes in work practices. In fact, ZavoodiCMS is intended to easily integrate into existing web sites, allowing web developers to leverage their existing work, while prepping for a site redesign (and reaping further financial reward) down the road.
